I hope you are enjoying your summer! After so many days of rain, we certainly appreciate the beauty of Maine’s sunny days and cool nights. I look forward to hearing about your summer adventures! Have you been reading lots of great books?
The new school year is just a few weeks away! We have been busy preparing for the new year all summer long. Please make note of the following dates:
First Days of School. Once again we will open the new school year with a staggered start to provide orientation for students and a smooth transition to the new school year.
Grades 1 and 2, 5 and 6, 9 and 10 only: Wednesday, August 30, regular school hours
Grades 3 and 4, 7 and 8, 11 and 12 only: Thursday, August 31, regular school hours
Kindergarten: Tuesday, September 5, regular school hours
PreK: Wednesday, September 6, regular PK hours
Open Houses. We are excited to welcome all families to school to meet staff and visit classrooms. Please consider volunteering in our schools this year. Information will be available.
Canal, Saccarappa, and Congin: Tuesday, August 29, 5:15-6:15pm
Westbrook Middle School: Grade 5: Monday, August 28, 5:15-6:!5pm
Grades 6, 7, and 8: Thursday, September 14, 6-7pm
Westbrook High School and WRVC: Thursday, September 28, 5:30-7pm
