Good Morning Congin Cougar Families,
Happy Wednesday, and Happy March! Can you believe that it is already March? The school year is flying by and we have a lot of things going on at Congin! Here are some updates for this week:
It is Wednesday, so that means it is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 2:20pm!
We will be having a whole-school assembly today to celebrate our work with being a good friend, and we will be rolling out our new theme of honesty! Students will be earning shamrock stickers when they are honest and brave for the month of March.
To celebrate our work with being a good friend and meeting our goal, we will have a PJ day on Friday!
Spring Pictures will be taking place on Friday! This will only be for families who are interested, so if you are interested in your child participating, please let your child's teacher know.
We will be having a Pizza/Bingo Night on Thursday, March 12th from 5-7pm at Congin. This is a free event, so come enjoy some games and pizza with our Congin community.
We had our kindergarten information night last week, and it was well-attended. Thank you to all of the families who came. Don't forget to register your incoming kindergartener online and to call us to schedule a screening!
Interested in your child attending pre-k next year? There there will a pre-k information night on Tuesday, March 10th from 6-7pm at Canal School!
There will be no school on March 20th, as this will be a professional development day for staff.
Our current kindergarten will have no school on March 27th and 30th. We will be screening our incoming kindergarteners on these dates.
