Throughout March, Saccarappa welcomed various guest readers into its classrooms to celebrate Read Across America!
Guyla Woodbrey once again organized the Maine Agriculture in the Classroom Read ME program for our classes. This year's book is Farmer Eva's Green Garden Life by Jacqueline Briggs Martin. Thank you to our guest readers, Matt Randall, Mary Emerson, Linda Bois, Hannah Moore, and Kelly Bourgeois.
In addition, thank you to Lucas Anderson from F.A. Peabody Company for reading to Mrs. Morrison's kindergarten class and donating a book to our school's library.
Finally, thank you to Samuel Johnson and his crew of Westbrook High School students for coming to Saccarappa to read to our classes. It was such a great way to reinforce the joy of reading. Saccarappa's students enjoyed meeting the high schoolers; some even saw familiar faces! Thank you, WHS guest readers!
