It's almost time for the Saccarappa School Light Tour! On Friday, December 12th, Saccarappa School families are invited to tour the lights in downtown Westbrook while enjoying hot chocolate and mingling with friends. Buses will go between Saccarappa School and Riverbank Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

Lots of fun was had at the Pie the Principals Pep Rally. We celebrated being Safe, Ready, and Respectful with blindfolded teacher drawings, Musical Hula Hoops, and, of course, whipped cream. Way to go, Shining Stars!

Every week, classes participate in U-Time lessons to foster a sense of community and build relationships among students and teachers. Ms. Colgan's class read the book 'Spoon,' by Amy Rosenthal, and learned about the unique talents of everyday cutlery. The students then identified their own talents and skills and drew them on large cutouts of a fork, spoon, and knife.
