Glass Ornaments

The WHS Art Department with help from our National Art Honor Society students hosted a fused glass ornament making workshop for staff in the art studio. Dozens of WHS teachers became the pupils, as our brilliant students taught them the skills and techniques to make pieces of fused glass. With expertise and a lot of patience, our NAHS volunteers helped staff make a variety of beautiful earrings, pendants, and ornaments. The process involved scoring, cutting, and arranging pieces of colored glass in order to create a design. The end result was that teachers had a ton of fun being the students, and they walked away with a little piece of art as a bonus. A huge shoutout to Matt Johnson and the NAHS superstars for putting on this wonderful workshop!
