Students from the Compass program recently visited the Wildlife Park in Gray. Experiencing nature allowed them to see real life examples of the content they have learned in their science units. Field study is a privilege our staff and students take full advantage of, and we are super thankful to the Melissa Foye and the Transportation Department for making outings like this one possible.
Some other amazing off campus learning opportunities have included visiting Calpine, the Rock Row Offices, the State House in Augusta, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, UNE, and the Olympia Snowe Leadership Institute – and that's just the past couple weeks! None of these great opportunities would be possible without the dedication of our talented staff and the cooperation with the bus depot.
